Welcome to the pediatric dental practice of Frisco Dentistry for Kids.
Our office provides specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a warm, caring and "child-friendly" environment. As pediatric dentists, our 2-3 years of additional training after dental school has prepared us for the unique dental needs of each child we serve. We focus on preventive care to help each child grow a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Our office serves infants, children and teens in Frisco, TX including the surrounding cities of Plano, McKinney and Little Elm, TX.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Kelli Ettelbrick and Dr. Ty Hinze are recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as being Board Certified Pediatric Dentists. We focus on educating both parent and child about dental health. Every effort is made to help your child learn how to take care of their teeth and hopefully be cavity free throughout their life.

we will be happy to assist you!
Wow, what a crazy time we are living in! We hope you are all staying safe and doing well. We have missed seeing all of you, but we have been doing our part to stop the spread. Soon, we will be able to be together. In the meantime, we want you to know that the safety of our patients, their families, our team members, and our community have been and will be our #1 priority. We are implementing some new protocols and following all requirements from the CDC, ADA and Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE), that will help ensure all our safety while you are in our office.
- We will be contacting you by phone before your scheduled appointment to do a prescreening for COVID-19 which is available on this website by clicking the Lady Bug link “Patient Forms”, enter your child’s name, then choose the “COVID-19 Current Patient” for existing patients or in “New Patient Forms…” for new patients. Please fill out your forms 2 days before your appointment, but not more than 1 week. If you or your child are feeling sick, have a fever, or have been in contact with someone that has been sick or been diagnosed with COVID-19, we will reschedule your visit. If we leave you a message, please call back as this prescreening must be completed in compliance with orders from the TSBDE.
- We are limiting the number of patients that present to our reception area. When you arrive for an appointment, please call or text the office 214-387-0099. Please give us a minute or two and we will direct you on your next steps. We will take you and your child’s temperature and guide you through the office.
- If you or your child have a temperature above 100.4 degrees, we will reschedule the visit.
- We are asking the patient to come into the office by themselves if this is at all possible. If you prefer to accompany your child, we must limit to one parent/guardian with the child. Please keep all siblings without an appointment (which we have always loved having come) at home or in the car. If this is not an option due to childcare, please let us know.
- We are requiring that all parents/guardians who enter our office wear a mask.
- We will be rescheduling patients who have missed their appointments during our mandated closure. We ask for your patience during this time as we try to accommodate your schedule and follow all required scheduling mandates by the TSBDE.
- We have adjusted our schedule to allow for more social distancing in the office. We are fortunate that we have several rooms with private doors to provide barriers from other aerosols.
- We will require all patients to rinse with a 1.5% hydrogen peroxide rinse before every appointment. A 1.5% hydrogen peroxide rinse is known to be effective in deactivating the coronavirus. This will also help minimize the risk of aerosols in the office.
- Please let your child know that our office and our team will look different, but we are all still the same people underneath our personal protective equipment! We cannot wait to see what masks you all are wearing!
This is such a challenging time for all of us. We are praying for all of you!
We are in this together!
