Do You Have Payment Plans?
Yes! You can pay all-at-once or over a number of months.
If you choose an installment plan, this means that you make your first payment upon registration, and then all future paymentswill be automatic monthly withdrawals. There is a nominal additional processing fee for installment plans.
Can I take this course while working full time?
Yes! This course was designed by nurses, for nurses – so it’s intentionally created to allow you to be successful with your busy schedule.
Much of the course is self-paced, it’s 100% virtual, and you only need to dedicate about 5-6 hours/week to your learning in order to be successful.
Most nurses in this course are simultaneously working full time, managing families, pursuing hobbies, taking vacations, and many also studying in other programs as well.
Needless to say, it’s designed to be very flexible and doable for the “busy nurse”… which I think is all of us 🙂
Board Certification Requirements
This training provides you with 100% of the education and supervised practicum hours needed to sit for the board certification in either Nurse Coaching, Holistic Nursing, or both.

Will My Hospital/Institution Pay For This Course?
Around 30% of our graduates have been either partially or fully reimbursed for this training by their employer.
While we can’t guarantee this, we encourage you to talk to your employer since manydohave an “education allowance” for continuing education and certifications, offering as much as $2,000-$3,000 a year.

What is the Difference Between Each Collective?
Each Collective of the Transformative Nurse Coach Certificate Programis virtually identical, with the exception of the start dates.
So, choose the date that works best for you and enjoy the ride!
How Many Nurses in Each Collective?
Each online Collective is comprised of about 30 nurses in total.
We’ve tested this extensively and have found this to be the magic number for maximum engagement and interactive learning.
And to take it one step further, after week 6, we divide your cohort in half one more time.
That way, you’ll meet with an intimate group of 15 incredible nurses every month to discuss case studies, receive expert mentorship from your co-instructor, and practice Nurse Coaching in a live environment.

Each online course has a Co-Instructor who is responsible for offering you direct support and personalized feedback every step of the way.

Technical Requirements
To take any course by The Nurse Coach Collective, you must have access to:
- Working internet capable of streaming audio, video, downloading documents, and engaging with peers.
- A working computer, tablet, or smartphone capable of internet connectivity.
- You must be able to type out long and thoughtful responses on whichever device you choose to use.
- A basic understanding of how to navigate the internet, answer and respond to email, and use basic video conferencing software.
- Have access to a webcam or telephone device.

Are there any guarantees that I’ll pass the certification exam?
At the time of this writing, we have a 100% pass rate for the certification exam! So while we can’t make guarantees for things that are out of our control, we do a great job of preparing you (and all of our students) for success!
Do you have to take a certification exam to be a nurse coach?
If you want to become a Board Certified Nurse Coach, you will need to take the certification exam provided by AHNCC after completing our program. While not required, nearly all of our students choose to become board certified, since our program provides you with all of the education and practice necessary to sit for this exam.
Is this program accredited?
Yes! Our program is peer-reviewed bi-annually by the American Holistic Nurses Association.
This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the American Holistic Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
We’re also a licensed CA Continuing Education Provider, so great news if you live there!
Lastly, AHNCC accepts these contact hours towards the requirement for either the Nurse Coach or Holistic Nurse Examination application requirement.
